Refund Policy – Siya Tourism

At Siya Tourism, we aim to maintain transparency and fairness in all refund-related matters. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be applicable for tours, travel packages, car rentals, cab services, hotel bookings, and other services booked through us. By confirming a booking with Siya Tourism, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy. Siya Tourism shall not be responsible for any non-refundability, delays, or consequences arising from third-party service providers or circumstances beyond its control.

1. General Refund Policy

Refunds are governed by the applicable cancellation timeline, the type of service booked, and the refund policies of third-party suppliers such as hotels, transport operators, and activity providers. Siya Tourism acts solely as a booking and service facilitator, and shall not be held responsible for any refunds. All refunds are strictly subject to approval by the respective service providers. Booking fees, convenience charges, administrative costs, and service charges are generally non-refundable. If a hotel, cab operator, or service provider does not permit refunds, Siya Tourism shall have no responsibility or liability for the same. Siya Tourism is not responsible for the behavior, conduct, language, attitude, or actions of cab drivers or vehicle owners. Any loss of personal belongings inside the vehicle shall be the sole responsibility of the customer. Any dispute, misconduct, delay, or inconvenience caused by a driver or vehicle owner shall be entirely the responsibility of the respective service provider. If cab service providers do not allow refunds, Siya Tourism shall not be liable for such non-refundability

2. Tour Packages / Travel Services

Siya Tourism acts solely as a booking and service facilitator for tour packages and travel services. Siya Tourism shall not be responsible for providing any refunds for cancellations, amendments, delays, non-availability of services, or any issues arising from third-party service providers such as hotels, transport operators, airlines, or activity providers.

Any refund, if approved, shall be strictly subject to the respective service provider’s refund policy, timelines, seasonality, and availability, and may be processed only after deducting applicable service, administrative, and processing charges. If the service provider does not permit refunds, no refund shall be payable, and Siya Tourism shall not be held liable in such cases.

If a cancellation policy is applicable as per third-party suppliers such as hotels, transport operators, and activity providers, it shall be applied in the following manner. The date and time when the cancellation request is received by Siya Tourism shall be considered the official cancellation date. Cancellation charges are calculated on the total booking amount, and not merely on the advance payment. Indicative cancellation charges (actual charges may vary depending on supplier policies and seasonality):

  • More than 30 days before the travel date: Minimal service or processing charges may apply.
  • 15–30 days before the travel date: 25%–40% of the total booking amount.
  • 7–14 days before the travel date: 50% of the total booking amount.
  • Less than 7 days before the travel date: 75%–100% of the total booking amount.
  • Same-day cancellation or no-show: 100% cancellation charges (no refund).

3. Cancellation of Car Rental and Cab Services

All cancellation requests for car rental or cab services must be submitted in writing via registered email or WhatsApp. The date and time when Siya Tourism receives the cancellation request shall be considered the official cancellation time. Cancellation charges depend on the time of cancellation, type of vehicle, route, and the respective supplier’s policy. Indicative Cancellation Charges (subject to third-party approval): More than 24 hours before pickup: Minimal service or processing charges may apply. in hindi 12–24 hours before pickup: 25%–50% of the total booking amount may be charged. Less than 12 hours before pickup: 75%–100% of the total booking amount may be charged. Same-day cancellation / No-show: 100% cancellation charges (No refund). Important Conditions: No refund will be provided if the customer: Does not report at the pickup location on time Cancels after vehicle dispatch Refuses the vehicle at pickup without a valid reason Delays travel due to personal reasons Non-Refundable Situations: Delays caused due to traffic congestion, weather conditions, roadblocks, government restrictions, or natural causes If the trip is shortened or terminated early, no refund will be applicable for unused hours or kilometers Last-minute vehicle type changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges Outstation & Multi-Day Bookings: Once the journey has started, no refund shall be provided for early return or unused days Minimum billing (days/kilometers) will apply as per booking confirmation Driver & Vehicle Issues: In case of genuine vehicle breakdown or driver-related issues, Siya Tourism may attempt to arrange an alternate vehicle, subject to availability If an alternate vehicle is not available, any refund (if applicable) shall be processed only if approved by the respective third-party cab provider, hotel, or service provider, after deducting applicable service charges Siya Tourism is not responsible for the behavior, attitude, language, or misconduct of drivers If a driver refuses service, behaves unprofessionally, or is unavailable, Siya Tourism will coordinate with the service provider for resolution Any inconvenience caused due to the driver is not refundable unless it results in complete service cancellation Third-Party Refund

Disclaimer: If a refund is applicable, it shall be solely governed and processed by the respective third-party provider (cab operator, hotel, or service supplier) as per their policies. Siya Tourism does not guarantee, control, or assume responsibility for such refunds. 4. Driver and Vehicle Issues

Driver and Vehicle Issues - In the event of a genuine vehicle breakdown or a driver-related issue attributable to the service provider, Siya Tourism will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative vehicle, subject to availability. However, Siya Tourism shall not be responsible for providing any refund. If any refund is approved by the respective service provider, the same may be processed only as per the service provider’s policy, after deducting applicable service and administrative charges.

5. Vehicle Breakdown Disclaimer

Siya Tourism acts solely as a booking facilitator between customers and vehicle service providers. Siya Tourism shall not be liable for delays, inconvenience, or losses resulting from vehicle breakdowns, mechanical failures, or technical issues.

6. Cab Driver and Vehicle Owner Responsibility Disclaimer

Siya Tourism shall not be held responsible for the actions, behavior, language, negligence, or misconduct of cab drivers, vehicle owners, or transport service providers. Any dispute, misconduct, delay, or inconvenience arising from the driver or vehicle owner shall remain solely between the customer and the service provider. Siya Tourism shall not be liable for personal behavior of drivers, route changes, driving styles, verbal arguments, misconduct, or loss of personal belongings inside the vehicle. In case of complaints, Siya Tourism may assist with coordination but shall not be legally responsible for the outcome. Siya Tourism shall not be liable for any claims, disputes, damages, losses, legal issues, penalties, or consequences arising from the actions, negligence, or misconduct of cab drivers, vehicle owners, or third-party service providers.

7. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are strictly non-refundable:

  • Non-refundable hotel bookings
  • Discounted or promotional packages
  • Peak-season or festival-period bookings
  • Third-party services governed by strict cancellation terms

8. Force Majeure (No Refund Clause)

No refunds shall be provided for cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, health emergencies, strikes, roadblocks, political unrest, adverse weather conditions, or any unforeseen events. Any refund, if applicable, shall be strictly governed by the policies of the respective third-party service provider, cab operator, or hotel, and Siya Tourism shall not be responsible or liable for non-refundability under such policies.

9. Refund Processing

If the refund policy is applicable, the refund process shall be as follows: Refunds will be initiated only after cancellation approval and confirmation from the concerned supplier. Approved refunds, if applicable, shall be processed within 14–28 working days. Siya Tourism shall not be responsible or liable for refund delays, denials, or non-processing, as refunds are solely subject to the policies, approval, and timelines of the respective supplier or third-party service provider. If the refund policy is applicable, Refund Processing will be as follows: Refunds shall be initiated only after cancellation approval and confirmation from the concerned supplier. Approved refunds, if applicable, shall be processed within 14–28 working Refund amounts shall be calculated after deducting applicable cancellation charges, supplier fees, taxes, payment gateway charges, and administrative costs. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method or, in certain cases, via bank transfer. Cash refunds are not permitted under any circumstances.

10. Refund Disputes

If the Refund Disputes policy is applicable, any refund-related concern must be raised within 4 days from the date of refund communication. Requests received after this period may not be considered, and Siya Tourism shall not be responsible or liable for any claims, delays, losses, or consequences arising from such late submissions.
